Dräger PARAT® 5500 The Dräger PARAT® 5500 fire escape hood was developed in cooperation with users – always with the focus on offering the fastest possible escape. Optimized operation and wearing comfort, a robust housing and a tested CO P2 filter guarantee that the wearer of the Dräger PARAT® 5500 is protected from toxic fire-related gases, vapours and particles for at least 15 minutes while escaping.

• Reliable Protection.  The CO P2 filter is approved to EN standard 403:2004.   The filter is tested for use against H2S (at 2500 ppm) in accordance with DIN 58647-7.  The filter is securely sealed with two filter plugs keeping it safe over it's lifetime.
• By replacing the filter after 8 years, you can extend your service life to a total service life of 16 years.
